to the Looking Glass. Life is a
wonderous thing. Each of us lives in a world that is founded upon multiple realities. Realities created through
culture, religion, family, background, and personal experience. I grew up believing in the realities that I was taught
as a child. I have now grown a little bit more and been a few more places. I am still young, but I have seen much
for my age. The realities of my life have been changed, enlarged. I believe in God. I believe He loves all
of us. I do not pretend to understand Him, nor do I seek to understand the reason why He does things. I simply
accept that He is and this life is a gift He has given me to learn and to grow. Christian nature is to watch horrible
things happen and ask God "Why did you let that happen?"...as a citzen of humanity I watch horrible things happen
and ask, "Why did I/we let that happen?" Knowledge is power, before I had no comprehension of the attrocities that have
taken place in our history. Now, pandora's box has been opened and I have looked inside. I do not presume
to believe to fix everything or much of anything, but I will do what I can. Many times, when we see horrors
going on in life, we think to ourselves, "Thats none of my business, there's nothing I can do."
I echo the world of Bob Marley in Dicken's A Christmas Charol, "Mankind was my business."
Perhaps my ambition is too low, I do not expect those who look into this Looking Glass
to do much, I just hope you will care and realize, this was and still is a reality in the lives of many people.
Not just a blemish on a Nation's record, nor some new news headline, this is real life, uncut and uncensored. If you
don't want to see, don't look. If you look, don't think in your hearts about who was right and who was
wrong or any other superficial nonsense. The point is that within this site are pictures and stories of real people
and real horrors. It does not matter who was right and who was wrong. Welcome to a new reality.
